Thanks you to everyone who are visiting over the precious two years on-sight @ 119 Wallis Road with Arbeit and CDT, we hope your plants and or other bits and bobs are doing just fine if not better if purchased from us or not.

Its time to inform you that are time here at Wallis Road is soon to end and that we are looking at several alternatives right now that we might service all of you past and present into the future. Please do keep an eye on this here and our Instagram account to find updates on what is to become of your garden centre. 

We have FRANCHI SEEDS in abundance including Fruit, Leaf & Root. 

If we don't have your desired Franchi seeds in stock we will try our very best to get it in for you.

Seed Compost a very fine mix indeed in both Large or small bags .

Floral display for window boxes and hanging baskets

Sweet pea have arrived along with Nemesia, Bacopa, Trailing and upright Geraniums, Fushia, Saxifrage, Osteospermum

We have some amazing Geraniums with the most bizarre scents and they have the most delightful dainty flower.

Yet we do also have some Geraniums !





We have eight varieties of tomato plants in stock alongside beans,  broad, climbing and french. Then we have Lettuce. Radish, Pac Choy, Aubergines, Courgettes, Carrots, Peppers, Cucumbers. Sage's, Thyme's and a variety of Mint's to grow on. This selection changes from week to week, best to come and see them!

4th May and spring showers are with some of us. Whoopppee.

Oh my goodness the sweet armours of spring have arrived and most of the Prunus are or have started their annual floral display. Now the flower has gone over the shape of these Prunus are worth every moment.

We have in stock some Prunus incisa 'Kojou-mai' in 10Ltr pots that would suit perfectly someones balcony. Hurry we have  just had delivered another 3.

The daylight hours are already seen to be longer and the birds on sight are singing hearts out whilst building nests. You are invited to come hear the chattering sparrows and the laughing gulls. 

Of course we have seasonal border perennials for colour and height. Architectural shrubs and hedging. If we haven't got it in just ask.

Hanging baskets of petunia are preforming in red and purple.

Welcome to Growing Concerns - Your Local Garden Centre with a Heart

Nestled in a yard along the River Lea (Lee Navigation), and the Hackney footbridge (with a lift) Growing Concerns is the local garden garden centre where you can find a small selection of outdoor plants, gardening tools, gardening supplies, pots, compost and much more. We've have what you need to transform your space. Our friendly team is always here to offer expert advice and support.

Should you like for something we don't have currently in stock? We love to be challenged and will do (almost) anything to help our customers. 

What's in stock and in season;  Franchi's seed Fruit, Vegetable & leaf seeds and Seed compost, Vegetable seedlings and fruits in small Pots from 1 Litre down to strips (small cells).

For the colour in displays like window boxes and hanging baskets we have in stock  Pansies, Aubrieta, Campanula, Dianthus, Geraniums, Osteospermum, Ranunculus, Heuchera in many colours, Tiarella, (when available) and so much more. Come look see as stock is on a constant weekly change.

We have many perennials that are good for planting now, in preparation for the coming year, lots of shrubs and even some sapling trees.

We also provide compost in large (40Ltr 'Melcourt') and small bags of the same so you don't need to keep a (40/50L) bag on the balcony or taking up room in the shed for months.
